Description

NEPIC is delighted to team up with Ward Hadaway to bring you this free breakfast seminar where we will look at the key issues regarding the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

With just six months to go until GDPR comes into force (25th May 2018), this seminar will help inform you, show you what you need to do to prepare, and enable you to assess the real impact that GDPR is likely to have on your business.

GDPR represents a significant change in the management of your business lifeblood - data - with much stiffer penalties if you breach the law. It’s essential your company gets to grips with the changes. Your GDPR compliance programme should be well underway but if not, you must start preparing now. Join us on the 13th December where we will discuss:

  • What does GDPR mean to my business?

  • What things do I need in place by next year to comply?

  • Do I need to appoint a Data Protection Officer?

  • What will constitute a breach, and what will I be required to do?

  • What rights do individuals have?

Aimed at senior management and in-house counsel, this seminar will provide a perfect opportunity to find out the latest guidance behind this significant change in legislation. If you’ve already started your compliance programme, it will also provide you with the chance to speak to a data protection specialist about any issues which your GDPR compliance programme has highlighted.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
